Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Actuarial Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and reporting for partner's total cost of care savings performance estimates
  • Coordinate annual financial reconciliations for value-based contracts and validate results with actuarial counterparts
  • Execute actuarial analyses and develop models to quantify financial and risk trade-offs in value-based arrangements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Math, or a quantitative discipline
  • Associateship or Fellowship from the Society of Actuaries (ASA or FSA)
  • 8+ years of actuarial experience in healthcare and/or medical economics
  • 2+ years of experience mentoring junior staff members
  • Understanding of Medicare Advantage health plan data and experience using SQL or another coding language
