UK and Ireland Licensed Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager (EMEA) to oversee the regional finance function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and reconcile the general ledger in accordance with UK/Irish accounting standards, ensuring timely statutory filings
  • Deliver monthly management accounts, provide variance analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting across multiple entities
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, support payroll submissions, and collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors
Required Qualifications
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) qualified accountant
  • 4+ years of accounting experience with regional or international exposure
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102, with Irish GAAP experience being a plus
  • Proven experience in cash management, general ledger ownership, and VAT compliance
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
