Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Director to lead and enhance tax compliance efforts across the institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file key tax documents, including Forms 990, 990-T, 4720, and 1042
• Advise and train university departments on tax compliance, planning, and reporting
• Monitor changes in tax laws and update internal policies and procedures accordingly

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of tax experience in higher education or public accounting, focused on nonprofits
• Master's degree in accounting or taxation
• CPA license required
• Strong expertise in nonprofit tax compliance and return preparation
• Experienced in translating tax law into practical compliance programs and operational best practices
