Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to manage accounting functions in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing transactions and responding to vendor and customer inquiries
• Prepare journal entries and support reconciliations for balance sheet accounts during month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Assist in financial statement audits and participate in system implementations as needed

Required Qualifications

• BS in Finance or Accounting
• 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in corporate accounting and accounts payable
• NetSuite experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation and analysis
