Senior Designer

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Designer to join our Creative team at SPCSHP. This role will oversee social content from concept to execution. This position blends creative thinking, strong design skills and content creation experience to enhance our brand’s presence across social. 

In this role, you will be partnered with a Social Copywriter / Creator to concept and create social content (from static and animated posts to Reels) across all social platforms. 

Role + Responsibilities:

• Multidisciplinary design practitioner, being able to work seamlessly across all aspects of Social content creation
• Work and collaborate with creative teams to build out social content (from static and animated posts to Reels) across all social platforms
• Participate in ideation of content for marketing campaigns, leveraging understanding of social trends, and extension of the brand into social and digital space
• Effectively collaborate and communicate with other disciplines
• Live and breathe (micro)content and consumer-brand interaction
• Participate in the creation of pre-production materials, inclusive of storyboard/moodboards and/or shotlists, where necessary
• Knowledgeable of best practices regarding how to develop social content across various platforms
• Ability to navigate within an agency between cross-department disciplines
• Accomplished understanding of social content editing and finishing of assets (editing end-to-end in TikTok and/or IG or proficiency in editing applications like Premiere, CapCut, etc..)

Skills + Experience:

• 6+ years of design experience in an agency setting or equivalent
• Experience with a Beauty/Luxury brand is a MUST
• Proficiency in editing end-to-end in TikTok and/or IG with editing applications like Premiere, CapCut, etc.
• Familiarity with preferred hardware for social shoots (i.e. ring lights, backdrops/seamless where necessary, tripods…etc)
• Portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns

• A strong conceptual thinker who can quickly take an emerging trend, shape it to work for a specific client and create an irresistible (or hilarious) piece of content
• A passion for digital culture and inventing solutions to tomorrow's challenges today
• Exceptional design and presentation abilities
• The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines
• Animation skills and designing within Figma and/or Adobe Express is a plus
• Knowledge of basic 2D graphics animations a plus (closed caption needs, text overlay etc..)

The salary band for this role is $110,000 - $125,000. Where a prospective new hire's base salary will fall within this band depends on several factors including their qualifications and experience, the skill level required in the role, market rates, and the salaries of existing crew members at SPCSHP within the same role to maintain equity.
