Pay range:
Launch Pad Technician/Level 1: $20.00
Launch Pad Technician/Level 2: $25.00
Launch Pad Technician/Level 3: $30.00
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. At SpaceX, we believe the future involves humanity exploring the cosmos, and as a Launch Pad Technician (Starship), you'll play a critical role in making this vision a reality. Located at our Starbase in Texas, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing essential fluid system components, like ball valves and pressure regulators, using schematics and engineering drawings. Your keen troubleshooting skills will come in handy while activating fluid and mechanical systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly for the successful launch of our multi-million dollar vehicles. You'll work closely with a dedicated team of technicians and engineers to guarantee each system meets the highest quality standards. Daily responsibilities also include supporting the launch fluids team and assisting during vehicle rollouts, launches, and post-launch procedures. We’re looking for someone who is not only technically skilled but also eager to learn and contribute to our mission of human life on Mars! You should have a high school diploma or equivalent and some hands-on experience with power tools. If you have an aerospace technology background or experience working in a rocket launch facility, that would be a plus! With physically demanding tasks and a potential outdoor environment, a strong work ethic and flexibility for all shifts is essential.
