Save is responsible for features such as Bill Negotiation, Automated Subscription Cancellation, and Financial Goals.

Collectively, these features directly save our users hundreds of millions of dollars per year, and are a pivotal step along the path to financial wellness and prosperity.

We're growing our team, and we're looking for Engineering Leaders who are excited about helping users save money while growing a healthy and engaged team of full-stack engineers.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL:

  • Lead a small team focused on our most popular money-saving features.
  • Support engineers in their growth, providing feedback and guidance on architecture, execution, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
  • Own the delivery of your team’s work – your team is responsible to deliver, but as a Leader, ownership of that delivery is yours.
  • Support a broad cross-functional team (think Operations, Product, and Customer Support) to continuously adapt our systems to match our users' needs to our needs as a business.
  • Work with Product and Design to optimize user delight and business impact through pragmatic and thoughtful engineering and planning.

ABOUT YOU 🦄

  • You are an engineer by trade, with a history of shipping production code and working with product teams to design & build user-friendly features.
  • You have 2+ years of experience integrating third-party APIs into high-volume distributed systems.
  • You have 1 or more years of experience leading a team of engineers.
  • You can tailor your management style to suit your team members, identifying where some people might succeed with a more hands-off approach than others.
  • You understand observability and enjoy digging into the details to solve performance and user experience issues.
  • You thrive in a growing organization, and are not afraid of a challenging problem. In fact, you confront problems head on and take the lead on the solution.

Additional information: Salary range of $150,000 - $200,000/year + bonus + benefits. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
