Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process biweekly, weekly, and off-cycle payrolls for exempt and non-exempt employees across multiple states
  • Maintain payroll records and employee changes, and reconcile payroll data with the Payroll Director and Finance
  • Prepare payroll reports, support audits, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll processing
  • Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint and UKG
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and compliance requirements
  • Experience reconciling payroll with the general ledger and supporting month-end close
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting
