Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist to support corporate accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the weekly accounts payable (AP) cycle and manage vendor bill approvals
• Review travel and expense reports for compliance and prepare billing invoices for customers
• Assist in month-end close activities and monitor cash inflows for timely payments

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in accounting preferred or equivalent coursework
• 5-10 years of experience in government contracts accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in Deltek Costpoint
• Knowledge of GAAP and the Federal Acquisition Regulation
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
