The Logistics Market Research Associate supports the business by analyzing data on customers, competitors, and market trends. This role involves gathering, interpreting, and presenting findings to improve business strategies and operations. It requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data on customers, competitors, and the logistics marketplace to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and execute market surveys, interviews, and other data-gathering techniques.
• Compile and present findings in reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders.
• Evaluate competitor strategies, market pricing models, and operational trends.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in strategic decision-making.
• Conduct SWOT analysis and market forecasting for new initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and sales, to address market insights and align strategies.
• Stay updated on logistics industry trends, regulatory updates, and technological advancements.

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Marketing or a related field required.
• 2-3 years of experience in market research or a similar analytical role, preferably in logistics or supply chain.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or similar).
• Experience with statistical analysis and familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for delivering insights to diverse audiences.
• Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and meet deadlines effectively.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing market reports or similar publications.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Samsung SDS HQ Korea.
• May be required to work additional hours outside of regularly scheduled business hours or weekend or holidays to meet business needs
• Travel %: Ability to travel up to 10%
