Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
3+ years of inpatient auditing/coding experience with ICD and CPT/HCPCS
In-depth knowledge of hospital inpatient record types and payer reimbursement methodology
Experience in MS-DRG validation, APR-DRG validation, and clinical validation
Proficient with Microsoft Office products and computerized programs
Relevant coding/clinical certifications such as CCS, CPC, RHIT, RHIA, CDIP, or CCDS preferred
