People Operations Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a People Operations Compliance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain internal controls for compliance with wage and hour laws, employment eligibility, and global labor requirements
  • Conduct audits of HRIS data, manage employee document strategies, and oversee unemployment claims
  • Develop and maintain employee handbooks and manage compliance vendors and training mandates
Required Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in HR compliance or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • 1+ years of experience with HRIS systems, specifically Workday
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets
