Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Title Examiner.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine chain of title primarily for residential properties and potentially for commercial and industrial properties
• Abstract and analyze records to determine ownership, legal restrictions, and verify legal descriptions of properties
• Prepare initial title commitment documentation and provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Typically requires 5+ years of directly related experience
• Strong knowledge of legal terms used in title documents
• Ability to read and decipher legal descriptions related to title orders
• Strong knowledge of industry and company operating systems, tools, and applications
