Licensed Agent in Charge

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Agent In Charge (AIC) to oversee agent operations and ensure regulatory compliance in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise licensed insurance agents and ensure compliance with federal and state laws
• Act as a liaison between U.S. operations and Canadian leadership, facilitating communication and aligning goals
• Manage relationships with U.S.-based vendors and represent the company in contract discussions

Required Qualifications

• Active life and health insurance license(s) in at least one U.S. state; multi-state licensing preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior agent, brokerage, or compliance leadership role
• Familiarity with Managing General Agent (MGA) operations and supervisory structures
• Strong knowledge of U.S. insurance regulatory frameworks
• Ability to work independently in a cross-border and remote-first environment
