Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Referral Specialist I with Epic scheduling experience desired.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for referral orders and facilitate access to medical services
• Schedule appointments, including complex specialty appointments, and communicate pre and post appointment instructions to patients
• Document all contact attempts in the patient's electronic health record and notify the ordering provider when services are removed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Graduate
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in a medical group with a focus on patient care coordination
• Experience with Epic specialty scheduling preferred
• Knowledge of clinical processes, medical terminology, and patient-focused software systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple tasks
