Reframe Systems is on a mission to build net-zero carbon housing for all, at massive scale. To achieve our mission, we need to make net-zero carbon housing more affordable and we are re-imagining how housing is designed and built. Our modular building platform and highly-automated production system will drive down cost, delivery time, and embodied carbon for ADUs and multifamily housing. We are seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our factory team and play a critical role in producing high-quality modular housing components. This role includes preparing, finishing, and painting drywall surfaces in a controlled manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has experience with taping, mudding, sanding, and painting, as well as a commitment to precision and high-quality work.
Prepare drywall surfaces for finishing, including taping, mudding, and sanding seams, corners, and joints.
Apply and smooth joint compound to achieve a seamless finish.
Conduct quality checks to ensure surfaces are even and ready for painting.
Apply primer and paint to drywall surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Ensure consistent application and coverage, with attention to detail and finishing.
Inspect surfaces and make necessary repairs or adjustments before finishing.
Mask and protect non-paint areas, ensuring clean, professional results.
Collaborate with other team members to maintain production schedules and meet quality standards.
Communicate with supervisors to address challenges and improve workflow.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Clean and maintain tools and equipment used for finishing and painting.
High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in drywall finishing and painting, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
Proficiency in taping, mudding, sanding, and painting techniques.
Ability to achieve smooth finishes and high-quality results consistently.
Familiarity with tools and equipment used in drywall finishing and painting (e.g., taping knives, sanders, sprayers).
Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working overhead or on ladders for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
Factory environment with exposure to construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Physical tasks, including standing, lifting, and performing repetitive movements.
Some overtime or weekend work may be required based on production schedules.
