Established in 2001, Project Resources Group (PRG) is a growing, leading national provider of construction management and outside plant damage investigation and recovery services within the telecommunication and utility industries.   With approximately 700 employees spread across our many office and site locations, we provide the highest quality technical resources, project management, and risk mitigation services to our customers.


We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager with specialized expertise in fiber communications and the construction of fiber plants. This role requires managing complex projects from conception through completion, ensuring they meet all operational, time, budget, and quality standards.
 

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead the planning and implementation of fiber communication projects. 
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will meet business and operational goals.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the key point of contact for all project stakeholders, maintaining excellent communication and ensuring stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Certification & Expertise

  • Utilize expertise in project management methodologies, underpinned by certifications such as CAPM, PMP, or Salesforce certification, to drive project success.

Fiber Plant Construction Oversight

  • Oversee the construction activities of fiber network expansion, ensuring they adhere to predefined specifications, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Budget Management & Reporting

  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to upper management. 
  • Ensure projects are delivered on budget and scope adjustments are communicated timely.

Experience

  • Proven experience in project management, specifically in fiber communications or telecommunications infrastructure projects.
  • Prior experience overseeing fiber plant construction and familiarity with industry standards and technology.
  • Certifications in Project Management (CAPM or PMP) preferred. 
  • Additional certification in Salesforce is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off and more!  Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience, ranging $95,000- $110,000 per year.
