Job Description

Responsible for leading cross-functional and enterprise-wide initiatives to enhance systems, structure, and processes for effective product management.  This focuses on project management. This role works closely with cross-departmental teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership to drive efficient project execution and continuous organizational improvement. This role requires strong leadership, extensive experience in program management, and expertise in change management practices. Maintains contact with customers, as necessary, and participates in key sales situations to develop rapport which best benefits the Company and customer mutually. Provides deliverables and status reporting to C-suite and other key stakeholders. Reports to the top executive on the Product Line team. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible to:

  • Lead and Manage Initiatives: Lead multiple cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving business systems, processes, and structures across the enterprise.
  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption and integration of new systems and processes. Create plans that minimize resistance and maximize employee engagement and acceptance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams such as R&D, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and IT to ensure alignment on key initiatives and to drive process improvements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring regular communication, updates, and reporting to key leadership.
  • Change Communication & Training: Partner with leadership and HR to develop communication plans and training programs that support organizational change. Ensure that staff at all levels are well-informed and prepared for transitions.
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies. Monitor project performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current systems and propose innovative solutions to improve productivity, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Track and analyze program data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with project execution, ensuring successful program delivery and goal attainment.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all process improvement initiatives comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Stage Gate Portfolio Process Ownership: Managing ongoing governance of Projects ensuring adherence to required deliverables.  Ownership over Systems, Process and Policy to improve product launches and customer success.

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Management, Finance, Chemistry, Sales or Marketing  
  • 7+ years of experience in program management, project management, or a related role, with a focus on pricing and product management
  • 5 years’ experience in Printing Ink or related chemical manufacturing preferred
  • PMP certified preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. 
  • Proven experience in managing complex enterprise programs and leading cross-functional teams
  • Leadership and influence across diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking with a strong execution focus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision in order to perform quality management and address customer issues
  • Minimal Domestic and International travel
