Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Accounting Consultant specializing in Government Contracts for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish compliant project structures in the ERP system and ensure accurate project coding and cost allocation
• Monitor project costs for accuracy and compliance, and support project managers with cost performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and CAS requirements and support audits by providing necessary documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of project accounting experience in a government contracting environment
• Solid knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA requirements
• Proficiency with government contractor ERP systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint)
• Proven ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
