Pharmacy Technician Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor claims activity for accuracy and successful submission
• Ensure patient billing information is correctly set up in pharmacy software
• Respond to inquiries regarding reimbursement and billing while maintaining accurate documentation

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED; some college preferred
• CPhT certification preferred
• Pharmacy technician license or trainee license is strongly preferred in applicable states
• Experience with pharmacy, health plan, or clinical insurance claims billing preferred
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
