Job Summary

A company is looking for a Registration Specialist - Patient Access.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and enter patient demographic, billing, and insurance information into registration systems
• Collect payments and document transactions in the registration/billing systems
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patient appointments as per hospital workflows

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• State criminal background check and Federal check if required
• Ability to operate relevant computer software and equipment
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance requirements
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, and lifting
