New York Licensed Associate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Legal Counsel (Commercial).

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
• Develop and maintain standard SLAs, templates, and playbooks for legal operations
• Support corporate governance and entity management activities

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 2-4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a law firm or in-house at a technology company
• Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• Some exposure to corporate governance is preferred
• Curiosity about blockchain and emerging technology is a plus
