Warehouse Operations Manager

KEY Responsibilities / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manage department for logistic, warehouse, 3rd logistic party and logistic projects
  • Manage material flow and ensure service to internal customer (e.g Production, Engineering, Quality…) according to SLA
  • Select and communicate information to team
• Ensure people development in line with business objectives and staffing levels:
  • Manage Jobs and Skills with logistic area
  • Contribute to recruit competent staff
  • Manage training, qualification, and certification of internal staff
• Contribute to logistic budget items: analyse, explain and if applicable take corrective actions
• Guarantee Health and safety to individuals and preserve environment
• Insure 5S and regular “Gemba tour” in all logistic areas
• Perform audits of adherence to standards
• Optimize / improve the results on all supply chain related processes
• Analyse logistic KPIs and determine / prioritize the areas for improvement
• Participate or lead projects on logistic, flow and warehouse scope
• Participate to relevant team meetings (see meeting RACI)

  • Inventory and stock warehousing

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse environment
• 5+ years of supervisory and leadership in a similar environment
• Bachelor’s Degree Required
• Preferred area of study Supply Chain or Logistics
• English communication skills
• Has already worked in an industry with high quality requirements
• Good knowledge of SAP and its modules (SD, MM, PP)

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

• Knows the tools of budget management and activity management.
• Has successful experience in an identical position in a demanding industrial environment in terms of responsiveness.
• Has successful team management experience.
• Demonstrates particular rigor and organization.
• Can develop, over time, appropriate relationships with its various partners in order to complete the process.
• Mastery of office automation tools (Pack office).

PAY RANGE: $110,000 - $130,000 Salaried (This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.)
