Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized Project Administrator / Contracts Administrator to streamline our project documentation, manage client contracts, and support our operations team. This role is vital to our company's continued success, helping us enhance efficiency, ensure compliance, and improve project profitability.
Job Details:
Position: Project Manager
Pay: $70,000 - $80,000 (based on experience)
Location: East Chicago, IL
Full Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, ESOP
Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Prepare, review, and manage contracts, subcontracts, and amendments to ensure compliance with client and union requirements.
  • Project Documentation: Track project deliverables, change orders, and approvals, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Billing & Invoicing: Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team to generate invoices based on project milestones and monitor outstanding payments.
  • Compliance Support: Collaborate with the Safety Manager to maintain compliance documentation for audits and regulatory filings.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between project managers, clients, and union representatives to facilitate clear communication and resolve contract-related issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 3+ years of experience in project administration, contracts management, or a similar role in the industrial or construction sector.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Navision, Microsoft Project, or similar).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
