Infrastructure Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure projects, including but not limited to network upgrades, data center management, cloud migration, and facility construction/renovations.
    • Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, deliverables, timelines, budget, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Define and manage project scope, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder requirements.
    • Identify and manage project risks, providing proactive solutions to mitigate impact on timeline or cost.
    • Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among engineers, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
    • Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with service agreements.
    • Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to senior management and key stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
    • Allocate and monitor resources effectively to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Prepare regular project status reports and presentations for senior leadership.
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and final project reports.
    • Track and report on project performance metrics, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making.

  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of experience in managing infrastructure projects, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
    • Experience in infrastructure domains such as IT infrastructure, data centers, cloud computing, telecom networks, or civil engineering projects.
    • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
    • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, or similar tools).
    • Deep understanding of risk management, resource allocation, and budgeting.
    • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
    • Strong customer focus and dedication to delivering high-quality results.
