Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Staff Services Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate initial and reappointment credentialing for physicians and advanced practice providers
• Conduct primary source verification and maintain accurate provider records in the credentialing database
• Facilitate the privileging process and assist with Medical Staff committee meetings and documentation

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2-5 years of recent experience in the Medical Staff Services field required
• Working knowledge of The Joint Commission and CMS Standards required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Pro is required
• Current Certification by NAMSS as Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
