Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Bill Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth audits and reviews of medical bills meeting escalated criteria
• Audit medical bills for appropriate charges and identify billing errors
• Review provider appeals and assist in developing new audit methodologies

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing, medical coding, healthcare, or a related field preferred
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification or another coding credential required
• 2+ years of experience performing audits against medical records
• Familiarity with Workers Compensation preferred
