We are a young, fast-growing startup, headquartered in Zurich/Switzerland with a development office in Vienna/Austria and remote team members from around the world (incl. US, FR, UK, IN, MX, IE). At LocalStack, we’re building world-class tooling to support highly efficient dev&test feedback loops for cloud application developers. Our core product is the LocalStack cloud emulator - a light-weight cloud sandbox running in Docker that allows our users to develop cloud applications entirely on their local machines.

As we continue to grow our customer base, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Enterprise Account Manager to join our dynamic team.

As an Enterprise Account Manager at LocalStack, you will be responsible for driving sales and fostering long-term relationships with large enterprise customers. You will engage with senior-level executives and decision-makers to understand their needs, propose tailored solutions, and ensure successful implementation of our platform, driving increased customer satisfaction and retention.

In this role, you will leverage your strong sales acumen and technical understanding of cloud development to identify new opportunities for expansion within existing accounts, as well as acquiring new enterprise customers. You will collaborate closely with technical teams to facilitate product demos and ensure that the customer's technical requirements are met, while also working on upselling and cross-selling additional services.

Your ability to build trust and rapport with clients, along with your strategic approach to account management, will be key to your success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account strategies to drive sales growth and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Engage with senior-level stakeholders to understand their business objectives and challenges, providing tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Lead the sales process from opportunity identification through to deal closure, collaborating with sales and technical support teams as needed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts, conducting regular check-ins to assess satisfaction and proactively address any issues.
  • Work closely with Customer Success and support teams to ensure seamless onboarding and satisfaction for new customers.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the product team based on customer interactions to help inform product development and enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in enterprise sales or account management in the software or cloud services industry.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies (AWS experience preferred).
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of engaging with C-level executives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess account performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools is a plus.
