The Opportunity

Lambda is looking for a Senior Technical Sourcer to join our recruiting team. In this role, you will work closely with our Recruiters and hiring managers to develop strategies to find untapped candidates. The ideal candidate will have proven experience sourcing, recruiting and partnering with business stakeholders to hire world class talent for our small, high producing Engineering team at Lambda.  You will be playing a key role in helping Lambda grow with finding world class talent for highly technical nuanced roles that work at the forefront of the AI/ML infrastructure, including finding experts in high performance computing, GPU compute, low latency networking, and state of the art data centers.

What You’ll Do 

• Work closely with Technical Recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the organization

• Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns

• Innovate and drive sourcing strategies such as sourcing in GitHub, Reddit, BlueSky, OpenSource and other relevant forums using various tools to help influence engineering hiring strategies

• Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques

• Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine basic qualifications

• Recommend and drive improvements that impact local pipeline areas

• Build and share knowledge of skills, target companies, conferences, and open source communities with recruiters and hiring managers

• Utilizes data for reporting and influencing hiring decisions, while maintaining data integrity

What You’ll Have: 

• 5+ years of sourcing experience with a search firm or in-house recruiting team

• Experience working with and building sourcing strategies with hiring managers

• Experience with research/sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, Linkedin Talent Insights and other social media, or technical forums like GitHub, Discord, Stack OverFlow etc.

• Proven experience in hiring talent within Eng and or Tech XFN functions - including Software Engineering and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI) related roles (IC or leadership)

• Experience developing and executing candidate generation and research techniques

• Experience screening resumes to match qualifications

• Experience approaching and nurturing passive candidates

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with team members and hiring managers and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

• A self-starter who is action and result-oriented, resourceful, innovative, intellectually curious, and who takes initiative and risks

• Have a strong passion for our industry and demonstrate a strong ability to embrace and adapt to changes and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range Information 

Based on market data and other factors, the annual salary range for this position is $130,000-$160,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
