IT Operations Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Operations Assistant to provide key administrative support within the Information Technology department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage administrative tasks including staff access to platforms, travel planning, and departmental communication efforts
• Process purchase requests, maintain accurate records for hardware and software support, and oversee academic license renewals
• Handle credit card statements and expense reports, ensuring correct allocation of expenses to cost centers

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of a program of 18+ months after high school
• Proficient in using computers and various software applications
• Understanding of basic accounting practices and bookkeeping principles
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining confidentiality
• Experience with enterprise financial systems such as Oracle is preferred
