Senior Technical Trainer

We are looking for a Senior Technical Trainer to join our growing internal Technical Training team. This is a critical and highly visibly position which will have extensive exposure to stakeholders across all segments.  We are looking for passion, energy, and commitment in a dynamic, global, and fast-paced environment. The senior technical trainer is a collaborative, results focused individual with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships. They are experienced in the delivery of impactful training programs.  The successful candidate will demonstrate technical know-how, consulting skills, and ability to deliver effective learning solutions. 

Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)

• Delivery of high impact technical learning experiences using a learner centred approach

• Ability to apply cognitive psychology behind the way people learn

• Embracing the team’s strategy by supporting our vision for delivery excellence.
• Communicating your ideas clearly and with confidence through the delivery team and wider technical training department.
• Liaising directly with internal clients and senior team members.
• Adding value to existing technical learning content by offering innovative delivery solutions that sets up apart both in the company and in the marketplace.
• Sharing knowledge and innovative ideas with the wider creative team. 
• Lead and facilitate training sessions of various types including classroom based, remote learning. 
• Evaluate effectiveness of training programs using various types of formal and informal techniques. 

The candidate will be a key member of the global technical training team operating in a pivotal role to deliver strategic and tactical requirements. The team operates globally and most importantly collaboratively.

• Must have strong intrinsic and working knowledge of learning theory and delivery processes.
• Continue to build subject matter expertise in new or increasingly complex topics by regularly devoting time to learning, and then using that knowledge to improve and innovate.
• Current expertise in determining the appropriate learning vehicles and delivery channels to achieve desired performance (instructor-led courses, eLearning, blended, informal resources, or other performance improvement interventions).

• Strong evaluation skills are a must
