General Summary:
As the Sales Operations Director, you will play a vital role in leading a diverse team that has various accountabilities to the business. The role will be responsible for translating our broader organizational goals into specific goals, projects and strategies. The team you will lead is comprised of analytical contributors, customer support staff, back-office support personnel and front-line training support. This team plays a critical role in helping both the residential and commercial sales team achieve their new customer and revenue targets. The role will also be critical to creating a culture of collaboration throughout the organization.
Essential Job Duties:
•Lead a team of contributors and align their work to support the organization’s goals.
•Provide guidance, leadership and coaching to improve performance and align work for a team supporting a fast-growing sales organization.
•Accountable to manage, audit and produce monthly sales commissions.
•Manage and produce daily, weekly and monthly sales reports for the residential and commercial sales teams.
•Oversee the implementation and management of sales technologies, CRM systems and other tools leveraged by the sales team.
•Partner with senior management to identify opportunities for sales process improvement and foster an environment of continuous improvement for the team this role supports.
•Ability to work cross functionally to remove any operational or organizational barriers.
•Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales, Business Services, Finance, I.T., Customer Support, Outside Plant, Construction and Marketing, to address customer issues, identify business inefficiencies and enhance the overall customer experience.
•Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for retention and customer satisfaction improvement.
•Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners both inside and outside the organization.
•Ensure continuous learning and development opportunities are created for our sales professionals.
•Any other strategic initiatives as needed to support the changes in the company.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Ability to lead a team through an ever-changing and fast moving environment.
•Excellent verbal and written communication.
•Proven ability to think critically and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
•Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
•Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools is preferred.
•Successful in holding a team accountable for performance and coaching to improve individual performance.
Education and Experience:
•Proficient in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
•Experience using Tableau preferred.
•Exceptional attention to detail.
•Analytical and Problem-Solving orientation.
•Highly organized, multi-tasking skills and comfortable and efficient in ambiguous situations.
•5+ Years of prior experience in operational management.
•Experience with programs such as Salesforce and ZoomInfo preferred.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Strong leadership and organizational skills.
•Proven ability to think critically and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
•Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting or exceeding goals.
•Bachelor’s Degree required.
