We are looking for a passionate Associate Veterinarian with a deep appreciation and commitment to veterinary medicine to join our team in Leander, TX, a suburb of Austin.   

We take a team approach to veterinary medicine while maintaining at least a 2:1 Tech / Veterinarian ratio. We are Feline Friendly and uphold a Fear-free environment for our patients and support training for all our Team members too. We believe in building relationships with our clients to improve our ability to provide the best care possible for our patients. We offer communication and leadership training to accomplish these goals. We apply a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion lens in everything we do and love to give back to the community through donating veterinary services, helping with fundraisers, and volunteering our time to our community partners.
 
Essential Responsibilities & Functions:
  • Dedication to providing patients with a high level of veterinary care while utilizing the latest advances in diagnostics. 
  • A client service mindset with desire and ability to bring, build, and retain a strong client base. 
  • Enthusiasm about giving back to and building relationships with the local community. 
  • The ability to champion the practice’s objectives and values and inspire others. 
  • Follow the established policies and procedures that govern the normal operation of the hospital. 
  • Dedication to efficiently handling caseloads and maintaining accurate records using SOAP templates for treatment plans and recommendations. 
  • Promote a collaborative working environment and encourage the value of teamwork. 
  • Prioritize traumatic injuries and serious illnesses to ensure that all animals receive time-sensitive care. 
  • Educate clients on the importance of vaccinations, heartworm treatments, flea and tick treatments, and other aspects of preventive care. 
    Requirements:
    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. 
    • State Veterinary Board License in good standing.
