Finnish Legal Translator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Finnish - Legal Translator, Editor and/or Transcriber.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate, edit, and transcribe legal documents and audio files from Finnish to English and vice versa
• Edit legal documents and audio transcriptions while ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal terminology
• Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizen willing to undergo a government background check for Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in translation and/or editing between English and Finnish
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in audio transcription with relevant software proficiency
• Familiarity with legal terminology in both English and Finnish
