About Eva

Hi, we're Eva - welcome home.

With our laser focus on bringing more thoughtful design to your everyday life, we want you to come join us as we accelerate towards helping more people feel at home with Eva.

People are a huge part of the way we work at Eva, and we believe in caring for each other, ourselves, our community and our customers. We value honesty and authenticity and work together with humility to make things happen! When the team wins, we all win. If this sounds like a team you'd like to be part of, read on below.

What's the day to day like?

This is a newly created role! Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the website (AU & NZ), manage all onsite content and own the user experience, ensuring a smooth and effective performance. You’ll be responsible for optimising conversion, supporting customer journeys and ultimately, increasing key ecommerce metrics.

We’d love you to apply if you’re highly analytical and know how to use GA4, Shopify Plus, and other analytical tools like the back of your hand. A background in Shopify development is preferred as this role requires a hands-on approach to both management and technical improvements.

If you're passionate about driving digital growth and making a meaningful impact with a Melbourne-born B Corp, this is a fantastic opportunity to influence the success of an award-winning brand.

More specifically:

Web Merchandising & Content Management

  • Manage the end-to-end ecommerce operations, including website content and campaigns, onsite messaging and merchandising with a focus on driving revenue and trade.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimise on-site SEO, PPC, email marketing, and ensure the website is engaging, up-to-date, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Work with customer support to address site-related issues and enhance the customer journey.
  • Own and resolve any operational issues of the website
  • Lead new website projects, features, functionalities, and updates, bringing development expertise where needed to improve the customer journey.
  • Manage third-party apps and integrations, troubleshooting any issues that arise to ensure smooth website performance.
  • Own site documentation, workflows and technical management processes (SOPs).
  • Stay updated on e-commerce trends, tools, and best practices to keep the website at the forefront of the industry.

CRO & Reporting

  • Lead A/B testing and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) initiatives to continually improve the user experience and maximise conversion rates with intuitive design and engaging content. This includes owning the testing roadmap and set up, monitoring, analysis and presentation of results.
  • Regularly conduct site maintenance and analyse website performance using Google Analytics, Shopify Plus, Hotjar and any other tools to identify trends and ensure all customer flows & conversion paths are optimised.
  • Create dashboards and reports, highlighting KPIs such as sales, website engagement, and conversion rates for the AU & NZ websites.

Here's what you look like:

  • Ideally - highly analytical, results-driven, creative, customer-centric and tech-savvy
  • 3 years’ experience in ecommerce, preferably with a focus on Shopify Plus
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, SEO, UX/UI, and online merchandising
  • Expert-level experience with CRO, preferably Convert
  • Technical knowledge of Shopify, including theme customisation, liquid coding, and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other analytics platforms
  • Excellent project management skills and multitasking skills
  • Experience working with marketing teams on campaigns and promotions across a number of channels
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Flexible work arrangements (hybrid in-office and WFH)
  • Annual company-wide Rest and Recover day
  • Team events (prev. events have included the Australian Open, barefoot bowls and escape rooms)
  • Free anniversary mattress and sweet, sweet family/friend discounts
  • Support for any course, conference or training that will help us mutually grow, ears and budget for any wild (but justifiable) ideas
  • An autonomous work environment where there is never a regular 'days work'
  • A diverse culture and a bunch of really lovely people

If you've managed to read this all the way through and have found yourself nodding along the way, then we'd love to see your application come through to our inbox!

Yours kindly,

Amanda from Eva
