About the Role:

We are seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Data Center Engineering Team. This individual will play a critical role in delivering core data center infrastructure for Crusoe's AI-first cloud.

A Day In The Life:

  • Develop conceptual electrical designs for data centers, progressing from Front End Planning, and Basis of Design (BOD) through Issue for Construction (IFC) stages for new project buildouts.

  • Lead and direct design teams, general contractors and construction teams in the design and coordination of electrical systems.

  • Manage, review, and guide power system designs throughout all project phases, including design development, equipment procurement, bidding, manufacturing, delivery, and on-site installation.

You Will Thrive In This Role If You Have:

  • 7 - 15 Years’ Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer with a focus on mission critical, large industrial, and/or data center construction and operations.

  • Possess a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Strong expertise in developing electrical designs for data centers, including power distribution systems and critical infrastructure.

  • The ability to lead and manage contractors and construction teams effectively.

  • A deep understanding of all phases of electrical system development, from initial design to on-site deployment.

  • Experience commissioning UPS, generators, switchgear, and other electrical infrastructure equipment.

  • Willingness to undergo a background check

  • Ability to review and understand electrical engineering drawings for high capacity facilities, high voltage (>20kV) power designs, utility interconnections

  • Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure is preferred, but not mandatory. Substantial design experience will be considered in lieu of PE licensure.

  • Substantial experience in a design role, working for an A/E firm, Design-Build Contractor, or other engineering role.

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of $170,000 - $200,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
