Cooper Auto Group is seeking an experienced HR Professional to join our corporate team in Edmond, OK. We are looking for a talented Human Resources Generalist/Manager to support our continuous effort to support a healthy, supportive environment for the growth and success of our employees. This role will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day HR operations ensuring compliance with State and Federal laws.

  • Act as the corporate point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution.
  • Provide guidance on Company HR policies, procedures, and best practices to management and staff.
  • Conduct appropriate, thorough and prompt investigations into employee complaints.
  • Assist in development and implementation of disciplinary and performance review processes.
  • Assist in creating efficient onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies and internal procedures and regulations.
  • Oversee employee benefits programs serving as a resource for employees regarding benefits issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or related role.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and regulations.
  • HR (PHR, SHRM) related certification(s) preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
