Commercial Lines Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Lines Consultant to coordinate and execute underwriting projects that enhance profitability and corporate strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate strategic underwriting projects and optimize implemented solutions
• Develop and maintain underwriting protocols and collaborate on insurance product enhancements
• Manage cross-functional projects focused on underwriting profitability and communicate project status to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
• CPCU or evidence of continuing education in the insurance industry is preferred
• Eight to ten years in the property and casualty industry, including three to five years in underwriting
• Department-level project management experience using formal project management methodology
• Working knowledge of external compliance requirements and insurance department regulations is desirable
