Completes requests to determine coding quality issues and shares results with relevant teams
Assists the CDI team in resolving documentation inconsistencies and educates on coding changes
Conducts coding reviews related to potential lost revenue and identifies training needs for coders
Required Qualifications
RHIA, RHIT, CCS certifications or a combination is required
Minimum of five (5) years of inpatient coding experience
Minimum of three (3) years of coding auditing experience
Ability to review complex medical records
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
