Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder III - OP Physician Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews and interprets medical records to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures
• Generates appropriate coding and billing by reviewing diagnostic and procedure codes in the documentation system
• Communicates with providers regarding missing documentation and collaborates with revenue cycle departments for timely processing

Required Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Experience: 3 years of coding experience, including Coder I experience
• Certifications: CCS, CCS-P, CIC, CIRCC, COC, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding, and relevant regulations
• Expertise in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
