Job Description

Central controlling of global network of Manufacturing Plants (located in Portugal, China, Mexico and Germany). As part of this, close collaboration and support of the local MPs in all controlling aspects. Liason to other controlling functions (esp. Business Unit Controlling as wellas central controlling functions) and management.

Tasks:
 

  • Central controlling of global network of Manufacturing Plants (located in Portugal, China, Mexico and Germany)
  • Coordination and hand-on involvement in month end closing as well as year-end closing acitivities for individual plants as well as overall consolidated view. Validation and analyses of MPs results and central reporting of KPIs of the MPs.functions to various stakeholders. Process owner of Key Data Plant Reports
  • Coordination and pro-active steering of other main controlling processes, esp. Regular Forecasts and Budgeting of the Manufacturing Plants
  • Preparation of regular Performance Dialogs, consolidation of results and reporting
  • Governance over global MP Controlling processes and continous improvement of related processes (harmonization, efficiency, transparency). As part of this also covering interfaces to other departsments, such as Logistics, Purchasing and central functions (e.g. central Controlling Process Excellence)
  • Owner of certain processes (e.g. budgeting of toolings) and key interface to various functions.
  • Various analyses, participation in projects, support for special inquiries and decision-makin

 

Qualifications

  • Master or bachelor degree with focus on Controlling, preferably additionally Finance/Accounting
  • First working experience in Controlling of a company with various locations / entities in manufacturing controlling
  • Very good English skills
  • Able to work independently (target-oriented, self-driven, pro-active by nature, highly motivated to drive business forward)
  • Team-player and able to collaborate with various stakeholders across different entities
  • Well structured and analytical way of working, Able to work with mass data
  • EXCEL expert knowledge important, preferable experience in reporting (e.g. BW, PowerBI, Think-Cell, Planning Analytics)
  • Preferably experienced with SAP and related systems (e.g. Business Information Warehouse)
