This is an excellent opportunity to work with large animals like horses, cattle, sheep, and goats while growing your skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, x-rays, ultrasounds, and scopes.
  • Handle and restrain large animals, including haltering, jogging, and lunging horses.
  • Perform basic laboratory tasks, including fecal tests and bloodwork.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, including cleaning instruments, stocking vet trucks, and sterilizing equipment.
  • Support day-to-day operations with tasks such as laundry, data entry, and client communication.

Qualifications:

  • Experience or comfort handling large animals (e.g., horses, cattle, sheep, goats).
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for 6+ hours, and assist with procedures requiring agility.
