Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel to join their legal department.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage various commercial agreements
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and Tech/Product leaders on projects related to data privacy and employment
• Assist in strategic transactions, including M&A and corporate finance

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience at a major law firm and/or in-house legal department, preferably in a high-growth tech company
• Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, especially in SaaS and government contracts
• Familiarity with employment, benefits, equity, and data privacy laws is a plus
• Experience with corporate governance and strategic financing transactions is preferred
• Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
