State Licensed Special Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Special Counsel, Transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support commercial transactional work and collaborate with internal stakeholders across Business, Compliance, and Finance teams
• Structure, negotiate, and draft fintech and blockchain transactions while addressing legal risks
• Develop and implement efficient contracting processes and assist in contract interpretation and management

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience, with both law firm and in-house experience preferred
• Experience in drafting and negotiating fintech and financial services agreements
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic partnerships
• JD from a top 50 law school and active membership in at least one state bar
• Proficiency in Google Suite, ChatGPT, Slack, and Apple MacOS preferred
