Head of Sales

Our best-in-class closed-loop-wallet as a service enables payment experiences akin to the Starbucks balance, the Clipper card, Steam Wallet, and Uber Cash.


With Ansa, our merchant partners have increased revenue over 25% and seen over 50% higher customer retention. We are convinced that we are the last piece of the puzzle in driving delightful loyalty experiences with our slick payments product.


We are looking for a high-performing Head of Sales to join our team! If you're looking to up-level the impact of your sales experience, come influence and develop our sales organization!


👋 About you
  • Proven experience in a full cycle enterprise sales role (5+ years) selling payments; with a track record of exceeding quota.
  • Experience hiring and managing sales teams (3+ years).
  • You are a self-starter capable of operating independently and are comfortable working in ambiguity to drive results;
  • You are a team player who thrives in face-to-face collaboration with a close-knit team;
  • You are highly analytical with experience executing experiments; 
  • You thrive in a competitive, fast-paced environment and changing requirements;
  • You are based in the San Francisco Bay Area (or willing to relocate).


🤝 What will you be doing?
  • Own pipeline generation, qualification, and acquisition of new enterprise customers for a wide range of verticals, including coffee brands, QSRs, and digital marketplaces;
  • Support the CEO in setting up meetings and running background sales process for largest enterprise accounts;
  • Manage mid-market sales team;
  • Represent Ansa at external events and conferences;
  • Run experimentation and development of go-to-market content and strategies alongside partnerships and customer success;
  • Deeply understand Ansa's product, value props, and competitors to serve as an internal and customer-facing expert in these areas;
  • Be data driven and drive pipeline expansion and throughput.
