Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Platform Engineer to provide AWS cloud architecture and deployment in cloud platform environments - including public cloud, private cloud & hybrid cloud. This can include AWS cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, & cloud management & monitoring.

Responsibilities include:

Provides subject matter proficiency for work described in the task.
Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements.
Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties.
Deploying, managing, and operating workloads on AWS as well as implementing security controls and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with using both the AWS Management Console and the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI).
Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework as well as AWS networking and security services

Here's what you need:

Must be U.S. Citizen
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience or master's degree and 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, AWS Engineer, or Cloud engineering
Experience with AWS services (EKS, CloudFormation, Lambda, S3, EC2, etc.)
Hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control
Prior experience of scripting languages (Java, Bash, etc.) for automation tasks
Experience with docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes or Amazon EKS)
Five (5) years applied experience on containerized platforms
AWS Kubernetes CKA certification or training and at least two of the listed AWS certifications (or training).
- Three (3) years proven relevant experience may be substituted as applicable to each certification:
  - AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or training
  - AWS SysOps Administrator Certification or training
  - AWS DevOps Engineer Certification or training

Security clearance:

An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Accenture Federal Services offers a wide variety of benefits. You can find more information on benefits here. We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:

$135,900—$158,900 USD
