Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Documentation - Translator, Editor and Transcriber - Yiddish to/from English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate, edit, and transcribe legal documents and audio files from Yiddish to English and vice versa
  • Edit audio transcriptions and legal documents while ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal terminology
  • Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed
Required Qualifications
  • U.S. citizen willing to undergo a government background check for Public Trust Clearance Moderate Level
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in legal documentation and translation between English and a foreign language
  • At least 3 years of experience in audio transcription with relevant software proficiency
  • Familiarity with legal terminology in both English and the target foreign language
