eCommerce Performance Manager

Bevel seeks an analytical and growth-focused eCommerce Performance Manager to drive performance across our DTC site and e-retail channels. This role is responsible for the hands-on optimization of digital channels, focusing on enhancing site performance, executing and refining email and SMS campaigns, and managing digital assets. The ideal candidate has substantial experience with Shopify, a data-driven, test-and-learn mindset, and the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements that drive growth and elevate the customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:


Optimize DTC Site Performance
  • Support the achievement of high-level eCommerce KPIs established by the Senior Director through detailed execution and continuous improvement of tactical performance metrics.
  • Conduct daily performance monitoring of the Bevel DTC site on Shopify, identifying areas for UX improvement and conversion optimization.
  • Responsible for monitoring, reporting, and optimizing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rate, AOV, and customer engagement metrics under the targets and strategic direction set by the Senior Director.
  • Implement A/B testing and personalization strategies to improve customer experience and increase key metrics like conversion rate, AOV (Average Order Value), customer retention, etc.


Drive eCommerce Growth Through Data Analysis
  • Drive day-to-day eCommerce growth through tactical data analysis and reporting under the strategic guidance of the Senior Director.
  • Conduct daily data analysis on site traffic, customer behavior, and sales metrics to provide actionable insights and support ongoing optimizations, feeding key findings into the Senior Director’s strategic planning.
  • Use analytics tools to generate insights and adjust strategies across all digital channels.


Manage Owned Digital Channels (Email & SMS)
  • Execute and optimize email and SMS marketing campaigns as directed by the broader CRM strategy led by the Senior Director, ensuring alignment with brand voice and promotional calendars.
  • Build and optimize automated flows (e.g., welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase) to drive customer engagement, retention, and conversions.
  • Track and analyze campaign metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions), using insights to refine strategies and improve channel effectiveness.


Digital Asset Management Across DTC Site and E-retail Partners
  • Maintain an up-to-date library of digital assets (images, videos, descriptions), ensuring consistent branding and quality across the DTC site and e-retail partner platforms.
  • Regularly audit and optimize digital assets for web performance and brand alignment, updating as needed for product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Analyze asset performance across channels, implementing improvements based on data insights to drive engagement and conversion.


Collaborate on E-retail Strategies
  • Partner with e-retail platforms to optimize Bevel’s presence, ensuring product pages, pricing, and brand positioning are competitive and compliant.
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns with e-retailers to align with brand goals and evaluate results post-campaign.


Performance Testing and Continuous Improvement
  • Adopt a test-and-learn mindset to continuously improve site and digital channel performance.
  • Develop and execute a roadmap of experiments (e.g., UX/UI, pricing, bundling) to maximize impact across the customer journey.


Benchmarking and Reporting
  • Provide regular performance reports detailing KPIs, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Track and benchmark Bevel’s eCommerce performance against industry standards, implementing adjustments to stay competitive.


Collaborate Cross-functionally
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and CX teams on operational enhancements, ensuring that daily digital performance aligns with the strategic objectives defined by the Senior Director.


Must Haves
  • 3-5 Years experience on a DTC Brand 
  • Understanding of Shopify, including customization, integrations, and platform-specific optimization.
  • Ability to interpret and act on data from analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify analytics), focusing on key eCommerce metrics like conversion rate, AOV, and customer lifetime value.
  • Proven ability to identify challenges and quickly develop solutions that address root causes, particularly for performance, UX, and operational issues across digital channels.
  • Hands-on experience managing email and SMS campaigns, with a strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and performance tracking.
  • A growth-oriented mindset, continuously experimenting and iterating to drive optimization across the customer journey.
  • Ability to identify customer pain points and recommend UX improvements to enhance engagement and conversions.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
