SUMMARY: Utilizes the nursing process to provide quality age appropriate nursing care to patients that is consistent with organizational philosophy, goals and policies and procedures.
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduate from accredited school of nursing; BSN Preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years RN experience in Post partum or Med surg experience
License: Current New York State Registered Nurse License. BLS Required, Fetal Monitoring Certification within 6 months, and NRP upon completion of orientation

Working Conditions:

Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity

Occupational: Significant occupational risk

Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force

Physical Environment: Significant exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
