Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Management Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data entry for clinical reviews and maintain accuracy of payer information
• Obtain authorizations from third-party payers and assist with clinical information submission
• Respond to inquiries from the Billing Department and manage departmental communications

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree in social sciences or related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment
• Proficiency in medical terminology and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work well with healthcare providers and demonstrate strong customer service
• Analytical skills to assess workflow urgency and complexity
